It'll come to me... Lunch at ??? Lots of dishes, more than you can eat for about $8. Clean. Food: 8/10, Service 7/10, Atmos: 7/10 Overall 8/10. Ask for the bill when your food arrives, you should get it by the time you need to leave - as in most places in Bangalore. 10,000 staff, but it is all someone else's job...

The Bar, Oberoy Bangalore: Don't underestimate the bar food. The wraps are good. Chicken Squewer's aren't. Service 7/10, Food: 7/10, Good for a hotel bar. Not bad atmos. Dont watch the world cup there as the staff like to stand between the tv and the patrons - bad look, and you go to jail if you throw drinks at them...

It will come back to me - on the corner there in Potts Point. Food: was good - once. Male waitstaff try to pick up girls with you - which looses its charm. They only sell their own wine from italy at $50+/ bottle for a $6 bottle of wine. Service: 7/10, Food: 6.5/10, Atmos: 7/10 Overall: 6.5/10

Mushroom Tartlet- Manta. Not bad at all. Affordable only if someone else is paying. Great location 8/10, Atmos: 7/10, Food: 7/10, Service: 8.5/10. Overall: 8.5/10. You could not go there 5 times and save enough money to fly to Hoi An and go to the Mango Rooms...

Hoi Ann - at Bannana Leaf. On the Waterfront. Their specialty - this and White Rose. Both Spectacular. Atmos: 8/10 (on street level you get those pseky beggar kids), Food: 8/10, Service: 8/10. Overall: 8/10

Mango Rooms - Hoi An. You gotta love the king prawns wrapped in beef with black bean sauce - and the cocktails - the list goes on. Cant fault it. Atmos: 9/10, food 9/10, Service 9/10. Dook only hires charming waitresses - and why not! He also gives free stuff to regulars.

Emperor Restaurant - Hanoi. Good Food. Atmos: 8.5/10, Service 9/10, Food 8/10 Check this place, it is period and cool. Bit stuffy but good for business or civilised date perhaps.

Little India - Singapore - know where it is. Food: 7/10. Dood who wants a job in Australia: -7/10. Can eat with hands, but i know where mine have been... Overall: 7/10

Bar New Asia - Singapore. Food: 5/10, Location/ view: 8/10 (singapore). Drink there, go to Chinatown after/ before.

Yogi Hub - Singapore - near Little India - so you know there is competition. Real vego, real fresh. Kinda Designer as well. yogihub.com.sg Food: 8/10, Atmos: 7.5/10, Value: 8/10, Location: away from main shopping district - yeah - 7/10.

Melt - Bar/ Restaruant. Didnt eat there - but good atmos. They are cunning linguists with Cover Charge. They split groups, send the most naive up first. You pay when upstairs - like $10 cover, then let the next of the party up - who have to pay as the first group has already paid. Smart negotiators get in for free - but a very cunning stunt to be careful of.

Pizza Mario East Sydney. Pizza (Australia) 9/10. Value: 7/10 Atmos: 7/10, You cant book so it is a bit of a pain, and there is no BYO - so adjust value to 6/10, but it is the best Pizza in Sydney so far...

Otto - W'loo - Food: 8.5/10, Ambience: 8/10, Service 8.5/10, Style: 8/10. Price: 7/10. All-up not a bad spot. Good food, location etc. Can't fault if someone else is paying, otherwise, consider other options.

No 1 Peking Rd, Tsim Sha Tsui. HK. Food: 6.5/10, Ambience: 8/10, View: 9/10, Value: 6/10. Can't beat the view of HK from this place. Very designer, nice place for visitors. Food and drink unsurprisingly overpriced and not spectacular. The Bollywood Night (Wed) after 11pm has a good DJ/ VJ, but the crowd not hot.

Dumlings and Noodle House - Vic St Potts Point. OK it is convenient and quirky, but the soup-dumplings have no soup. No comparison to Singapore, HK, Beijing - but hey, way more convenient. Pancakes i had were OK. Food: 6.5/10, Quirky: 7.5/10, price: 7/10. If you go, make a booking, go to a bar and come back as some ppl take all night to eat at their 6 mini-tables...

Greenwood Yum Cha. Used to be bad news. Much better news now - must be a new chef! Food: 7/10. Service: 6/10. They charge for tea and Chilli which is a bit rude - but short of going to the city or Chatswood - they have it sewn up.

Shogun Potts Point. Name: 7/10, Service: 7/10, Food: 6/10. This is a Japanese restaurant run by Japanese (cf Korean or Chinese). Been around for ages, perhaps a little lazy these days. Ambience: 7/10. Overall: 6/10. Its a shame about the food.

Kam Fook/ Sharks Find - Haymarket Chinatown. Last time i went there we waited 2 hours for below avg food. No excuses. Take cash because there were rumours about a Malaysian credit card skimming scam going on there. Food: 6/10 Overall: 5/10. Chatswood Kam Fook: 9/10!

Jimmy Lic's - Victoria St Potts Point (30m from Kings Cross Station. Used to be so trendy ugly ppl coulnt eat there. It is noisy, the wait-staff are usually friendly - even though apparently the boss takes all the tips... Food: 6.5/10, Ambience: noisy - 7/10 but great 2001 interior design, Service: 7/10. Price: 5/10. Overall: 6.5/10

Maya Vegetarian. U know where it is. South Indian thing is the Business. Food was great, went downhill when they did the big re-furb, but is was great again a couple of weeks ago.
